REMEMBER THE HIPPY DAYS???

Here are purses that were popular back in the 60's and 70's and are now making a comeback. These are all photos of purses I made. The purse in the photo may no longer be available but I can make another very close to it. These will not be available for a PayPal shopping cart but can still be purchased using PayPal. Large Saddle Bag Purse

Large Saddle Bag Purse This is a large purse measuring 12"x9"x4". It is hand cut from heavy tooling cowhide. Shown with a carved butterfly design on top and with stamped flowers, butterflies and ladybugs on the bottom. This style normally used a leather teardrop shape and a thong as a closure but other styles are available. Other designs are also available. The Purse with the letter "D" was seen on the TV program "Explore PA" on my local PBS stations.

Roamer Style Purse This purse measures 10"x7"x4". It is hand cut from heavy tooling cowhide. Shown with a blue quilt with flowers in upper left. White lily in upper right and a yellow and red flower on natural colored leather in the lower photo . They are all shown with a "gate hook" style latch. Many other designs are available and will be priced accordingly. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Loafer Style Purse This purse measures 9.5"x6" with the gusset tapering from 2.5" at the top to 4.75" at the bottom. Also features a front pocket 7.25"x4.25"x1 that will hold keys, sunglasses, lipstick, and much more. Plain Black shows a nickel "gate latch". The one on the right shows a gilt "turn lock" and is made using natural tooling leather with an antique finish. Many other designs are also available. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Leisure Times Style Purse This purse measures 10.5"x9"x4". Also features a flat pocket in front about 7"x6". Shown using the "gate latch" in a cordovan brown with orange flowers. Many other designs are also available. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Casual Living Style Purse This purse measures about 7"x8"x3.5". Uses the older style Chain Bar Clasp. Leather is a Burgundy Colored from the factory. Can also be made using the natural tooling leather and dyed your choice of colors. Many other designs are also available. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Retro style purse known as "Round up" Round-up Style purse with Owl

Round up Style Purse This purse measures about 10'x8"x2.5" and features a pocket about 6.5"x4". Made from natural tooling leather and dyed. Uses a "Gilt" turnlock as a closure. Many colors and designs available. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Retro purse known as "New Age"

New Age Style Purse This purse measures 10"x8"x2.5". Made from natural tooling leather and can be made with many other designs and colors. The strap in the front tucks into the loop to form the closure. Contact me for pricing and availability.

Small Leather purse made from tooling leather

Small pouch purse This purse measures about 5.5"x4.5"x3". Made from natural tooling leather. Can be made with many orther designs and colors. Uses an old fashion latch called a Gate Latch. The strap is cut at 36" for a child or at 42" for an adult. This purse would be very nice for a night on the town when you only want to carry a small amount of items and do not want a bulky purse to get in your way. Price starts at $36.95.
